Kirkuk, Iraq (AFP) Aug 19, 2014 - Iraqi forces battled Sunni militants along a string of fronts Tuesday, including in Saddam Hussein's hometown Tikrit, as the United Nations readied a massive aid operation for displaced Iraqis.
