NASA's Swift satellite sees small star ejecting 'super flares'

(UPI) Sep 30, 2014 - Astronomers don't normally use canine clichés, but if they did, they might employ one - it's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog - to describe a small but energetic red dwarf in a binary system known as DG Canum Venaticorum, or DG CVn.
