50 years ago today, space welcomed its first sandwich
Washington (UPI) Mar 24, 2015 - Fifty years ago, on March 23, 1965, space welcomed a sandwich - a corned beef sandwich, snuck aboard the Gemini 3 probe. The sandwich was smuggled into space by NASA pilot John Young.
